Edward Backhouse Eastwick

The travelogue of Edward Backhouse Eastwick was published in London in 1864. Eastwick was appointed to Iran at a time when political relations between Iran and England were semi-suspended and unstable since the Iranian attack on Herat, and the British ministers and chargés d'affaires in Iran were changing constantly.
